WATCH OUT!

Parents please watch out that in our eagerness to see our children excel, we do not add to the stress by the way we ask questions relating to school. So rather than our first question being ‘how did that test go? Change it to first of all to, ‘how are you doing? How was your day’? As the conversation continues, then you can ask about the test.

This simple sequence helps sends the message that we value them more than their actual grades.
