It’s Time To Stop The Holiday Companies Cashing In On School Holidays!

Let all the parents who agree on this shout Yeh! It is about time for changes to be made about this increase on holiday fares. It has become the norm and we complain about it year and year out. Apparently according to the BBC news, an MP, John Hemming is lobbying a petition to be discussed after an e-petition on the issue received over 166,229 signatures.

The petition says:

Family time is so much more essential in the current working world, but so many people cannot afford holidays in school holidays.

A break at home is not the same as getting away from it all where there isn’t any housework or DIY to get done; instead focus is on family.

It’s time to stop the holiday companies cashing in on school holidays and let parents have some guilt-free family time! Enforce action that caps the percentage increase on holiday prices in school holidays.

So very true! We hope this petition can be heard, acted on and changes be done about these unfair high increases in holiday fares. Time for a change!
