IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS OF ‘A LEVEL’ CHILDREN

Before your child leaves to collect their A level results from their school or college today, Thursday 15th August. Here are recommendations of things your child should take with them
• Pen or pencil
• Notepad
• Mobile phone
• Calculator (in case you need to add up your module marks)
• AS results
• UCAS letter (that has their UCAS number on and other important information such as their conditional offer grades)
• Contact details for both their firm and insurance offers
• Copy of their personal statement
• Copy of their reference (if they have it)
• Contact details of their referee

These will be necessary if they have to go through Clearing. It is also a good idea to pick up a copy of the Telegraph newspaper, as apparently they are the only paper that publishes the full list of clearing places available. Your children might find it easier to browse places in the newspaper rather than searching for them in the UCAS website.
